Artem Melnychenko

Artem Melnychenko is a Senior Front-end Developer at Levr.ai. Since January 2023 he has built the screens brokers, business owners and lenders use every day, from the broker workspace and pipeline to the branded client portal and the Apply Now experience brokers put on their own websites. If a Levr screen feels simple, Artem has usually been there.

Artem has been building for the web for a decade. At Studio Widok he managed website builds from first design to launch and optimized cross-browser and multi-platform performance so client sites loaded 22% faster than the industry average. He rebuilt a client web application in JavaScript and React that cut reported bugs by more than 15%, and created an internal Sanity CMS and React tool that reduced project development time by 40%.

In Toronto he joined Thunderfy, where he built more than 40 responsive landing pages for the company and its clients in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React. He translated UI and UX wireframes into high-quality markup, worked in agile sprints with daily stand-ups and retrospectives, and stayed close to clients to make sure what he built met their needs, keeping customer satisfaction above 95%.

Artem also brings rare delivery experience for an engineer. As a project manager at Livingart Kitchens in the Greater Toronto Area he built a logistics system, increased project delivery efficiency by 35%, coordinated with more than 50 production managers and coached new team members. He holds a post-graduate certificate in Project Management from Centennial College and a bachelor's degree in International Business from Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow University.

He works in five languages: Bulgarian, English, Polish, Russian and Ukrainian. His toolkit includes React, Next.js, JavaScript, CSS, Git, GitHub and MongoDB.

At Levr, Artem turns complex lending workflows into interfaces that work. His front end carries the drag-and-drop document upload that fills an application automatically, the lender matching views, deal tracking and messaging, and the white-labeled client portal that shows the broker's brand instead of Levr's. Levr's senior product designer calls him one of the most thoughtful and brilliant engineers she has collaborated with: someone who always asks why a design decision was made, gives feedback grounded in user needs, and translates designs into polished, high-quality experiences on time.

Artem cares about the details users feel but rarely notice: pages that load quickly on a phone at a client's office, forms that keep their place when a broker switches tabs, and screens that work the same in every browser. His years running projects make him a calm partner on launch days, and he is known on the team for shipping on schedule without cutting corners. Earlier in his career he also worked as a campaign manager, where a colleague recommended him for his leadership and his willingness to talk with people.
